Polish electric control elements producer Elester, formely known as Ema Elester, presently belongs to General Electric (GE) as General Electric Zakłady Aparatury Elektrycznej Elester SA (GE Power Controls SA).

Ema Elester purchased licence from ASEA BBC / ABB for production contactors SLA and thermal relays TSA for marine and industrial applications. Formally this production is stopped many years ago, but supplies are still possible.

Contactors of SLA series:

• SLA 7 - 220V-3 kW, 380V-5,5 kW, 500V-4 kW, 660V-4 kW, 16 A
• SLA 12 - 220V-4 kW, 380V-7,5kW, 500V-5,5kW, 660V-5,5 kW, 20 A
• SLA 16 - 220V-5,5 kW, 380V-11 kW, 500V-9 kW, 660V-9 kW, 32 A
• SLA 32 - 220V-11 kW, 380V-18,5 kW, 500V-18,5 kW, 660V-22 kW, 40 A
• SLA 63 - 220V-18,5 kW, 380V-30 kW, 500V-40 kW, 660V-45 kW, 100 A
• SLA 85 - 220V-22 kW, 380V-45 kW, 500V-55 kW, 660V-55 kW, 120 A

Contactors of SLA series are produced for alternate current 50-60 Hz with different layouts of contacts.

Thermal relays of TSA series are produced with different current range settings, and are usually used as overcurrent protection of electric devices, for example electric motors.

Thermal relays TSA are usually assembled together with contactors of SLA series as overcurrent protective units for electric motors.
